NAR® Code of Ethics

The NAR® requires you to take the NAR® Code of Ethics every 4 years to remain a member of NAR®, OAR® and your local Association of Realtors®.

Sales Associate License

The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission now requires 135 classroom hours to get you Sales Associate License.

OREC rules state all courses must be completed within 6 months of enrollment… 605:10-5-3, (j), (4)

  • 605:10-5-3. Standards for Commission approved real estate courses
    • (j) Additional distance education course requirements.
      • (4) From the date of enrollment, the course shall have a validity period of six (6) months in which to allow successful completion to be attained.

80% pass rate

While passing the State Exam is set at 75%, the state requires that our students pass with an 80% passing rate or better, see below.

 In November 2013, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) integrated the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and Truth in Lending Act (TILA) disclosures and regulations. The new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) forms were implemented on October 3, 2015.

Finger Print Cards

The OSBI will not take an unsigned fingerprint cards, so please remind your students that the fingerprint card must be signed, or we have to send it back to them.
